This is Paula and Rick Labrecque of FIREGROUND360° and we've had the pleasure of knowing the Gauger's since we began our journey in public safety. We have trained and worked with Brett side-by-side on many occasions and socialized with he and his family over the years. They are such wonderful people. Sarah and Brett are dedicated parents with two lovely little girls and would help anyone in their time of need.
Please consider a donation to help this local firefighter family.
The FIREGROUND360° community sends their prayers and the hope of a speedy recovery.

Sarah's Medical Expenses
Sarah Gauger a young mother of two girls ages 3 and 7 has suddenly fallen gravely ill with a diagnosis of Budd-Chiari Syndrome (blood clots that partially or completely block blood flow from the liver).
Sarah was transferred to Mass General Hospital on Saturday night where Monday morning she underwent a 7 hour plus surgery to try and restore blood flow to her liver and remove the clots. She is currently unresponsive and it will take another day or two to see if the surgery was successful. In the meantime, Sarah's name has been added to the waiting list for a liver transplant.
Sarah's husband Brett, a Northampton Firefighter/Paramedic, has not left her side. As you can imagine this young family's lives have been turned upside-down. A Go Fund Me account has been created to help them during this tragic event.
Any size donation is greatly appreciated!
