On October 28th and 29th, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office, State Fire Marshal Stephen Coan, Massachusetts Property Insurance Underwriting Association, and the NoFIRES Partnership will host an Arson Investigation and Prosecution Conference at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA. The conference is designed for police and fire department investigators and arson prosecutors from across the state. The attached conference agenda will provide more specifics on the program. This year, our keynote speaker will be Assistant Chief Deputy District Attorney Michael Cabral from Yolo County, California. He will be presenting on the John Orr serial arson murder case and a recent double murder case involving a 15 year old with a history of firesetting.
This program is made up of a great group of specialized trainers with extensive experience in this field. The material and case studies will benefit both new and experienced members of police and fire departments and prosecutor's offices. We hope you can come!
